REGISTRATION
Please register only if you are planning to participate in the parade (individuals, groups, organizations). If you have previously registered for the initial 4th of July Parade and have already confirmed your participation on August 3rd, no additional registration is necessary.

EVENT SCHEDULE

Community Day Parade | Line up @ 4pm in traditional location near Herman Street.

• 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Touch-A-Truck & Food Vendors at Gaunt Park

• 9:00 PM
Community Fireworks Display

Food Vendors Include:
Young's Dairy, The Family Spoon, Lolas Mexican Food, Trey's Lemonade Stand, Galactic Flats

The YS Chamber, YSPD, Miami Township Fire-Rescue, and the Village of Yellow Springs are collaboratively proud to announce ‘Yellow Springs Community Day” on Saturday, August 3, 2024. This vibrant event combines the rescheduled 4th of July Parade and Fireworks with the annual Touch-A-Truck extravaganza, and promises to be full of fun, excitement, and community spirit.

Yellow Springs Community Day is a unique opportunity for residents to come together, celebrate our shared experiences, and enjoy a variety of activities. The event kicks off with the vibrant Community Day Parade, featuring local organizations, schools, and community groups. Following the parade, Gaunt Park will host the Touch-A-Truck event, where children and adults alike can explore fire trucks, utility vehicles, police cruisers, and medical transports up close. Food vendors will be on-site to provide delicious options for all tastes. 

Please note that there will be no parking available at Gaunt Park starting at 3:00 PM, with limited accessibility parking options. For safety reasons, vehicles parked in accessibility parking must remain until released by YSPD immediately following the exit of pedestrians at the end of the event.
