GSMO (The Great Serpent Mound of Ohio) is a Dayton-area band blending psychedelic rock, alt-blues, and Americana groove into a sound that’s equal parts rhythm and vibe. 

The band’s origins trace back to the late 1980s, evolving over time into the powerhouse lineup it is today. Known for writing and recording their own original material, GSMO’s live shows mix originals with an eclectic lineup of covers, all delivered in their signature groove-forward, harmony-rich style. GSMO's genres include psychedelic, classic rock and alt-blues. They say they were "Born from the sound and soul of the late sixties — when The Beatles dreamed, Dylan wrote, The Dead jammed, and The Stones swaggered — GSMO plays in that same electric space where melody meets meaning." GSMO says their mission is "to levitate the audience with majestic jammage!"
